Audiology Room – Cambridgeshire

AGS completed refurbishment of a Paediatric Audiology room for a Trust in Cambridgeshire at the beginning of 2026. 

Overall, a standard Audiology project for AGS working closely with the relevant NHS Trust parties. All agreeing that to best use the space, alterations to the layout were necessary.

The existing entrance had to be relocated, completed alongside both the Audiology and Observation room strip out.

The observation vision panel included a plain white perforated vinyl film providing one-way vision.

Further to the acoustic panel system, installation comprised of a new floating floor construction and suspended ceilings. In addition to silenced air conditioning systems, VRA patch plates and electrical works.

The facility was provided to be compliant with the relevant standards below.

The acoustic panel is our standard, heavy gauge 100mm thick modular system with a stretch fabric finish, fabricated at our Melton Mowbray workshop. The panels provide a high sound transmission loss (STC) rating ensuring a stronger level of soundproofing.

AGS manufactured and installed a double acting acoustic door with soft close seals with an exceptional rw rating.

Thanks to our in-house capabilities and resources available we were able to deliver a flawless finished product that we are very proud of!
