Dyno Rooms/ AVL Test Rigs
One project AGS delivered involved acoustic panels lining the interior faces and placing a new attenuated ventilation system in the ceiling for a motorsport company using a vehicle dynamometer. The panels are critical for reducing noise transmission, as the project's main goal was to avoid environmental noise issues with neighbours nearby and often tests running for several hours. The interior perforated face of the panels (Class A absorbers) reduces reverberation time, improves acoustic comfort and provides a clean finish for these rolling road rooms.

Anechoic Chambers
Specially designed rooms that have extremely high sound absorption, reducing reflections within the space and creating an 'echo free' environment. Typically used to study sound or EMI, constructed from wedge like acoustic blocks secured to the walls, ceiling and sometimes floor of the chamber to dissipate sound.
Another example is an RF anechoic chamber, AGS have experience delivering Faraday cages. Our acoustic panel system is ideal for this, we see a number of projects where this isolation is essential, for example BRUSH Transformers test cell.
Noise Havens
Commonly seen in industrials sectors where a form of acoustic control room is needed near noisy machinery in a factory. Standard construction involves acoustic personnel doors, acoustic industrial windows for observation into and out of the haven for safety reasons as well as ensuring machinery is operating correctly. Splash guards, locksets and various configurations are available to suit the requirements of a project.
Transformer Test Cells
AGS have experience delivering numerous Transformer Test Facilities, these test cells are often clad with our acoustic panels and windows for observation during testing. One of AGS' most prolific projects was for BRUSH Transformers, we also supplied and installed all the relevant steelwork, ventilation and soundproof doors required for the project.
